9 Celebrities Who Totally Swear by Healing Crystals

Updated

We know, we know: Celebrity trends don’t always translate to everyday life for us mere mortals. But when so many of our favorite A-listers are talking up healing crystals, we can’t help but take notice. Here, nine celebs who swear by these pretty stones to help them sleep better, create positive energy and even attract true love (yes, really).

Miranda Kerr

“My crystal wand is incredibly special to me, and is one of my most cherished items,” the model and natural skin-care brand founder wrote on her KORA Organics blog. “It’s made of Clear Quartz and is studded with Rose Quartz. Clear Quartz is a great stone for gathering, directing and transmitting energy … and Rose Quartz is a wonderful stone to heal and protect the heart, balance emotions, release stress and tension, and encourage love and self-esteem,” she added. Kerr also revealed that she uses crystals during meditation, prayer, deep belly breathing, massages and when she sleeps. (Who knew these sparkling rocks were so versatile?)

The Olsen Twins

The epitome of boho chic, the Row designers gifted each attendee at their fall 2018 fashion show a palm-sized crystal in black (black tourmaline) or white (clear quartz). Each crystal came with a note detailing its healing properties as well as instructions for how to cleanse the stone. Talk about a cool party favor.

Kate Hudson

When asked what was on her nightstand, the actress and leisurewear designer responded, “A crystal bowl filled with rose-quartz heart crystals that my mom gave me for Mother’s Day one year.” Aww…

Victoria Beckham

The ex–Spice Girl and fashion designer told People that she’s a crystals collector. “[I] place them around my home and office to create positive energy," she said. Hey, between running a fashion empire and nailing the whole “athleisure” look, it looks like whatever she’s doing is definitely working.

Adele

The “Hello” songstress attributed her shaky 2016 Grammy performance to losing her beloved crystals collection. “I was so nervous about my comeback show and I was panicking. I was out of practice and I was busy being a Mum. But it was one of the best shows I’ve ever done, and I had these bloody crystals in my hand…Then the Grammys came and I lost my f*cking crystals! I had a gig two or three days before them, and I think I left them at this venue. It turned out to be the worst, most disastrous performance that I have ever done.” Don’t worry, Adele—we still love you.

Shirley MacLaine

The formidable actress was into healing crystals way before it was cool. In her 1989 book Going Within, she writes, “The first time someone gave me a natural quartz crystal I laid it in the palm of my hand to examine it. I was fascinated. Not only was it beautiful: it seemed to have dimensions within dimensions, reflections within reflections.” She then proceeded to gaze into the crystal and project positive and loving thoughts into it for a whole hour. “It was a wonderful evening. And I slept better than I had in weeks.”

Katy Perry

Did you know that people use healing crystals to find their soulmate? Just ask the “Teenage Dream” queen. “I don’t stay single for long,” Perry told Cosmopolitan. “I carry a lot of rose quartz, which attracts the male. Maybe I need to calm it down with amethyst,” she added. Celebrities, they’re just like us.

Naomi Campbell

“I couldn't even start to tell you how many crystals I have,” the supermodel revealed to Harper’s Bazaar. “I keep a black tourmaline and a rose quartz in my bag, always. They signify protection and love, which is nice to have with you when you're travelling around the world every two seconds—not that I'm complaining. And then I bring others in my luggage.” So that must be where the she gets her, erm, famous Zen-like calm from.

Bella Hadid

The model shared a pic of her crystal collection on her Instagram account, captioning the shot, “As I fly to Dubai later tonight, a few of my favorite crystals will be here charging with the bright & full 'pink moon.’” (Psst…letting moonlight cleanse your stone is a way to rid it of negative energy.)
