It’s no secret that season two of Westworld left us with several serious questions: Is the theme park gone forever? Did Dolores really kill Teddy? And what happened to the hosts who crossed over to the new world?

In honor of season three of the popular HBO series, we compiled a list of answers to 9 of your most burning questions, from the premiere date to the cast list.

1. When will 'Westworld' season three air on HBO?

As of April 2019, HBO had only confirmed that season three will premiere sometime in 2020.

If it sounds really, really far away to you, you’re not alone. However, the series is known for taking extended hiatuses between installments—like when season one premiered in October 2016, followed by season two in April 2018.

2. How do I watch?

The episodes will be exclusively available on HBO, HBO.com, HBO GO and HBO NOW. You can also stream the new season on a number of streaming services, including Amazon Prime, Hulu and YouTube TV, all of which require a subscription.

3. How many episodes are in season three?

Similar to seasons one and two, the show’s junior run will consist of ten episodes.

4. When does production begin?

Casey Bloys—the programming chief of HBO—previously revealed that Westworld was scheduled to begin production in March 2019, meaning filming is already underway.

5. What's the plot?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series creator Jonathan Nolan hinted that season three will further explore the theme park’s forbidden areas.

“It’s been a long build-up to get outside the park,” he said. “And we’re incredibly excited about what that looks like and sounds like and what exactly our hosts discover out there.”

6. Who's starring in it?

Not much is known about the forthcoming episodes, though Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), Maeve (Thandie Newton), Man in Black (Ed Harris), Charlotte (Tessa Thompson) and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) are all expected to return.

7. Who didn't make the cut?

Based on the season two finale, we can only assume that Elsie (Shannon Woodward) and Emily (Katja Herbers) are dead and won’t return for the upcoming season. However, the post-credits scene teased Emily returning as a host, so Herbers might not receive the axe…yet.

While Teddy (James Marsden) is also assumed to be dead, we wouldn’t be surprised if HBO pulled a fast one and brought the host back.

8. What about newcomers?

Several new faces will appear in season three, including Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Lena Waithe (Dear White People), Vincent Cassel (Black Swan) and Scott Mescudi (aka rapper Kid Cudi).

9. Is there a trailer?

Answer: Yes. The all-new teaser introduces us to Paul’s character, who offers a series of cryptic voiceovers about his struggle to grasp reality.

“I think if I’m going to get on with my life, I’m going to have to find something, someone real,” he says in the clip.
