ABC Names Hosts for 'The View' Season 27 Hosts

The team at The View has announced that all of the show's current hosts will return for Season 27, which begins next month. In a statement to Variety, executive producer Brian Teta said Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro will all be back on the show.

The previous 26th season of The View was an especially great one for the series, which brought in an average of 2.375 million viewers per episode, the top number of all daytime talk shows and news shows. Variety also pointed out that this is the third year in a row the title has maintained its No. 1 position.

Is The View coming back in September?

Yes! ABC confirms that the talk show will be back in September 2023.

Executive producer Brian Teta told Variety that the 26th season of the show was one of its most successful yet. "I’m really proud that The View is having this moment 26 years into its run," he said. "The show is more relevant than ever and it’s a credit to visionaries Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie and the concept they created."

"Television audiences have changed drastically since the show began in 1997," he continued. "You have to be ‘can’t miss television’ to break through, and The View is always at its best when it’s a reflection of the conversations our viewers are having at home."

What is the release date for The View Season 27?

The first episode of the newest season of The View will air on Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.

Who will host Season 27 of The View?

All of the current hosts will return to The View for Season 27. "This combination of co-hosts is very special," Teta said. "They are having fun at the table, but they also are talking about important issues, reacting to breaking news in real time and having tough conversations. They have terrific chemistry, and everyone in our audience can find a perspective to connect with. Now we are heading into a presidential election cycle, when The View is historically at its strongest, and I’m very excited for what’s to come in Season 27."
