Shot in Los Angeles by Dutch photographer and director Carlijn Jacobs, the beauty and skincare mogul is greased up in body paint wearing the brand’s new distressed and oil-coated denim and sunglasses. In some images, Jenner, who recently starred in a campaign for Dolce & Gabbana, is superimposed embracing and dragging herself.

“The campaign sought to showcase Kylie as a woman who is in control, has love for herself and is unafraid to embrace her desires,” Jacobs said in a statement. “I aimed to celebrate her individuality by doubling her. She loves herself and is not afraid to show it.”

Campaign content will be shared across Acne Studios‘ social channels and across major cities worldwide. Jenner also shared the campaign with her 399 million followers on Instagram.

The F/W ’23 collection reveals a new side of the brand that helped put millennial pink on the map in the 2010s with its shopping bags.

New fits include the Super Baggy Fit Jean – 2023, a unisex style with an exaggerated silhouette. The 100 percent cotton jean is available in two washes—mid blue detailed with fading and smudging and mid blue with a waxy oil coating.

The two Y2K-inspired washes are carried into other key items in the collection including relaxed and loose fit jeans, an oversized jacket and a button-down shirt. A bomber jacket is crafted from bleached denim with an overdyed coating with a cracked shine effect. A cotton twill dress mimics the look of two separate pieces.

Acne Studios launched in 1996 with 100 pairs of jeans which were gifted to artists, fans and friends of creative director Jonny Johansson.

“Denim is one of those rebellious but practical materials that is always attractive to me. It’s also a very sustainable material in the sense that you end up wearing it again and again for years,” Johansson said in a statement. “I think of denim as the axle for everything else in your wardrobe—all your other clothes revolve around denim. It’s an endlessly important material that I love to reinvent every season.”

The fall collection retails for $380-$1,550 and is available now at Acne Studios stores worldwide and on its website.
