Actress Beanie Feldstein turned to Westchester bakery for her wedding cake. But what kind?
Westchester-based By the Way Bakery, a kosher, gluten- and dairy-free bake shop, got star billing — along with a wedding dress designed by Gucci — at actress Beanie Feldstein's recent Hudson Valley wedding.
Feldstein, known for her part in the coming-of-age film "Booksmart," and for portraying the lead role of Fanny Brice in the first revival of "Funny Girl," married her producer partner Bonnie-Chance Roberts at Cedar Lakes Estate May 20. Feldstein is also known for being actor Jonah Hill's sister.

All of the vendors who worked on the wedding were women, including Amanda Savory Events, Little Sister Creative and By the Way Bakery, which former lawyer-turned-bakery-owner Helene Godin founded in Hastings-on-Hudson 2011.
Feldstein's wedding cake — four tiers of vanilla sponge with latte filling and vanilla chiffon frosting — was created in the bakery's Pleasantville commissary kitchen; then delivered to the venue. Godin also owns locations in Greenwich, Brooklyn and the Upper West and Upper East Sides of Manhattan.
"Our favorite bakery forever and ever," Feldstein wrote on the bakery's Instagram, which congratulated the happy couple with a post June 3.
This is not the first celebrity cake By the Way has done. Actresses Lucy Liu, Téa Leoni, Emmy Rossum are also fans.
