Adam Driver Calls Out Big Streamers at Venice Film Festival
Ferrari had its first screening as part of the 80th Venice Film Festival today, and the cast and crew showed up to a press conference this afternoon to promote the film.
The film was granted a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement due to being distributed by Neon, who have been able to adhere to all of SAG-AFTRA's terms despite being an indie studio.
Star of the film, Adam Driver, called out the big streamers, saying, "I'm proud to be here to be a visual representation of a movie that's not part of the AMPTP...why is it that a smaller distribution company like Neon and STX International can meet the dream demands of what SAG is asking for … but Netflix and Amazon can't?"
