Last month, during a Nintendo Direct, Nintendo and Bandai Namco revealed that an adorable Spy x Family video game was in development and set to release soon. We got a small glimpse at the game in the Direct, but a new trailer has been released showing off even more.
In the new trailer for Spy x Anya: Operation Memories, we see Spy x Family’s adorable icon Anya living out her day to day life as she completes her school homework task of compiling a photo diary. Anya, along with her trusty canine companion Bond, travel to a host of different areas around the city to complete a series of activities presented as minigames.
There’s a rhythm minigame for doing yoga and exercises with Anya’s adoptive mother Yor, cooking in the kitchen with gameplay that looks pretty similar to Cooking Mama, eating at a restaurant with family, and so much more. Excitingly, it seems like you’ll be able to dress Anya up in a bunch of adorable costumes, as well as accessories, hairstyles, and hats.
Take a look at the trailer below, though it’s worth noting the game is called Spy x Family Operation Diary in Japan.
Spy x Anya: Operation Memories is due to be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on December 21, 2023 in Japan, and will be released in the West sometime in 2024. Alongside the new game, Spy x Family season 2’s release date was last week, so you can watch along while you wait for the game.
