AG continued to mine its effortless cool vibe for the spring 2025 season, taking inspiration from the sea.

“Our key inspiration for this season was the sea ranch in northern California where we have these vistas overlooking the cliffs, water and the tall grass,” said Graham McCulloch, director of marketing and e-commerce. “The architecture of the building itself is cedar and iron and these beautiful striking buildings. We used that as our initial inspiration in an attempt to come back to our California roots and really focus on a relaxed, but sophisticated feel.”

The collection mimics elements of the sea through fabrics and textures. For women’s, key styles were a denim jacquard set that had a subtle wave-like pattern and a blue and white striped denim set. There were also styles created in olive and mauve colorways that added more natural elements to the collection.

AG’s men’s pieces gave a nod to the brand’s California roots through worn-in pieces, like a sun-bleached denim set that had aged details, yet felt modern. Practicality was a major focus of the pieces, with many denim styles designed with new buttons or fastenings for added function. The emphasis on practicality was also seen through AG’s military-inspired pieces, like a reversible jacket that gave another functional option. Despite the emphasis on function, the construction and elevated materials made the collection feel stylish and modern.

AG’s spring 2025 collection offered a cohesive and robust lineup of the brand’s strengths in denim and gave functional pieces a modern-day and sophisticated feel.
