AG Jeans joined pre-New York Fashion Week festivities Wednesday night with a party to fete its latest collaboration with Emily Ratajkowski.

The Los Angeles-based brand linked up with the multi-hyphenate model, actress and entrepreneur to serve as the creative director for the 21-piece women’s collection. Centered on versatile staples that mix and match, the brand said the collection reflects the AG aesthetic as well as Ratajkowski’s personal style.

“Emily brought a positive and uplifting energy to the design process—her passion and attention to detail are evident in each item in the capsule collection,” said Glenn McMahon, AG’s newly appointed CEO, adding that the collection “provides a combination of both fashion and basic wardrobe essentials that are sure to resonate with millions of women.”

Denim is an authentic part of Ratajkowski’s style. She is frequently photographed wearing denim jeans, miniskirts, and Bermuda shorts walking her dog where she lives in SoHo. AG said she has been an “organic supporter” of the brand and has worn AG throughout the years.

“I’ve always been a fan of AG and was happy when they approached me about a collab that felt authentic and reflective of my personal style,” Ratajkowski said in a statement. “The pieces are wardrobe essentials that can transition from day to night seamlessly. They are crucial styling pieces that I find myself turning to again and again.”

Standout items include cargo jeans, wool trousers and miniskirts, jean jackets with cinched waists and shrunken fits, split-front flare jeans and a vegan leather trench. It also includes a 100 percent cotton relaxed straight jean in a vintage wash and a high-rise comfort stretch straight jean in a dark rinse.

Shrunken tees, a denim button-down shirt, a cropped tank and a one-shoulder knit top and knit flare pants are also available. A navy baseball cap features “NY” embroidered on the front. The collection retails for $98-$625.

The campaign for the collection, also starring Ratajkowski, was shot in the Big Apple by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch.
