Alan Kim, golden boy of the 2021 award season, deserves a trophy for his Oscars entrance alone. The nine-year-old star of Best Picture contender Minari arrived to the Dolby Theater looking equal parts adorable and sharp in a Thom Browne suit. The pint-sized ensemble consisted of a suit jacket and bowtie, the designer's signature shorts, knee socks, and oxford shoes.

Kim teased the outfit on his Instagram before arriving to show, unafraid to flaunt the look for a walk with his dog around the neighborhood. "It’s time for the Oscars, but first I have to walk Cream. Now it’s off to the show!" he wrote.

Once he finally stepped onto the red carpet, he was spotted doing a little happy dance.

And he absolutely hammed it up for the cameras, posing with Minari producer Christina Oh.

Kim just rang in his ninth birthday this week, and received a new bike, a Fitbit, and an iPad, he told E! on the red carpet. Given the recent celebration and tonight's Academy Awards, the young star has plenty to be excited about, but he's not particularly starstruck about anyone in the Oscar crowd.

When asked who he was looking forward to meeting, he shrugged, "I'm fine with anybody." He did add, though, that he's eager to reunite with his co-stars including Steven Yeun, Yuh-Jung Youn, and Yeri Han.

Minari is nominated for six awards this year, including Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and more.
