Aldi Just Dropped 2 New Holiday Chocolate Bars, and Shoppers Are 'Stocking Up for the Season'

Fan-favorite supermarket chain Aldi is most famous for its weekly Aldi Finds. You’d be hard-pressed to find a corner of the internet that doesn’t rave about the retailers better than name-brand chocolate offerings, and if you do, you might want to take their criticism with a grain of salt.

For context, the German-based chain offers a variety of European chocolate options, and the high-quality confections are unmatched in terms of quality and taste. While the famed chocolate bars might fetch a premium price tag at other stores, the grocery chain is able to keep costs low by selling the sweets under private-level brands you can only find at Aldi.

The latest bars to hit the store’s shelves are literally the holidays enrobed in chocolate, but if you want to get your holly jolly on, you’ll need to act fast. Posted to the always-on Aldi subreddit, photos of the Choceur Spiced Cookie Pieces Bar and the Choceur Peppermint Cremé Bar sent fans into a frenzy. Made of white or dark chocolate respectively, each bar costs just $2.49 and one user even reported finding them for a meager 62 cents!

If you’re using the comments section as your litmus-test you might want to start your car now. “Oh boy, going to grab a few of each and hide them on top of the fridge. No one will check there,” proclaimed one person. “I grabbed one of each. Placed it in the already ridiculously overstocked Aldi chocolate cabinet in my kitchen,” excitedly shared another.
While most fans are stocking up and hiding them atop their fridges, a few hoped for the return of another holiday favorite flavor. “I also hope they bring back mistletoe mix! That was my worst Aldi’s holiday treat addiction last year.”
