ALERT: Yankee Candle's 2018 Advent Calendar Is Coming To the US
If you're reading this, it's likely that a little piece of your heart broke off last week when you saw that the UK was getting their own Yankee Candle advent calendar - three versions, to be exact - with no word as to whether we'd get a festive countdown box in the United States.
Well, call me Santa Clause because I'm here to deliver you the greatest gift of 2018. America is, in fact, getting a version of the Yankee Candle countdown calendar, and while it's not available until Nov. 1, you can at least sleep better at night knowing that it's happening.
In an email to HouseBeautiful.com, a representative for Yankee Candle confirmed the future arrival - and shed some light on what will be in it. Expect to score 12 tea light candles and 12 Sampler? votive candles "in a variety of festive fragrances, as well as a beautiful flicker glass candle holder." Even the display case itself will unfold to reveal a special holiday scene. The dozen fragrances that will be featured are Frosted Gingerbread, Icy Blue Spruce, Snow Dusted Bayberry Leaf, Balsam and Clove, Balsam & Cedar, Christmas Cookie, Sparkling Cinnamon, Red Apple Wreath, Magical Frosted Forest, Sparkling Snow, Cherries on Snow, and North Pole.
You can snag the advent calendar for $36 on Yankee Candle's website starting November 1. While we only have one option to choose from - which the company says is because advent calendars are a bit more popular in the UK - it's festive and sparkly and probably smells amazing.
