Alessandro Enriquez Teams Up With Spektre on Sunglass Style
Strengthening a tie-up teased during Milan Fashion Week in September, fashion designer Alessandro Enriquez and Italian label Spektre Eyewear have teamed to create graphic sunglasses.
Coming with a bold acetate frame, thick temples bearing both parties’ logos and dark lenses, the geometric style is available in black, tortoise and whisky-hued versions, each retailing at 249 euros at Spektre’s online store and selected multibrand opticians.

“I’ve wanted to launch versatile and unisex sunglasses for years. With Spektre that journey was very simple. A reality like theirs, with Italian roots, couldn’t miss to match my vision,” said Enriquez, who was particularly pleased by the neutral color palette conceived to balance his colorful fashion.
“This is a project that celebrates individuality and the freedom to express one’s style, where cutting-edge design meets everyday functionality,” said Niccolò Pocchini, Spektre Eyewear’s chief executive officer. He praised the talent of Enriquez, his “quintessentially Italian style and distinctive aesthetics.”
“This capsule is the result of a perfect match between key points that bind us: design, functionality and creativity,” added Pocchini, who established the eyewear label in 2009. Ever since his company has partnered on capsule collections with like-minded niche brands as well as key retailers such as 10 Corso Como and Antonia, in addition to developing its main eyewear collections.
A young talent with a passion for everything Italian, Enriquez has developed a wide range of collaborations since launching his brand more than a decade ago, joining forces with companies including Universal Pictures, Warner Bros, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Sanrio and Mattel, among others.
Most recently, for Milan Design Week earlier this year, Enriquez presented a new home and interior design collection in collaboration with Bassetti, transferring the joyful vibe of his collections, bold color palette and recurrent prints like floral and heart-shaped motifs to a range of products for the bedroom, the living room, table and kitchen.
