In the campaign images, Ren and Johnson enjoy a self-care day, practicing yoga on the beach in the VA Essential Mid II Bra and Ba Essential Pocket Legging II Pants. They are also seen holding hands on a nature path, wearing cropped Baby Raglans and VA Sport Fleece Pants, among other styles.
The fall 2024 VA Sports collection includes a range of pieces like tennis skirts, crop tops and joggers that cater to performance needs and fashion preferences, fitting into the popular “pilates princess” and “tenniscore” aesthetics that have added a quiet luxury twist to the athleisure aesthetic.
Ren aimed to conquer her fear of surfing as part of the campaign, a journey she also promotes through We Are Warriors. This wellness and personal development community, cofounded by Ren and Allie Michelle, emphasizes empowerment through a holistic approach, incorporating fitness, education and meditation.
Ren is also set up to launch a codesigned collection with RVCA next spring. The lifestyle brand has previously collaborated with Stella Maxwell in 2022 on a capsule collection the model described to WWD as “early ’90s hip-hop meets ’90s grunge with maybe a little bit of ’70s love woven in there.” In 2021, RVCA partnered with actress and model Camille Rowe on a collection inspired by both ’60s French Girl style and vintage California aesthetics.
The 16-piece RVCA Sport Alexis & Bettylou collection, priced between $40 and $80, was available online at RCVA.com as of Oct. 23.
