ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – After a summer of fun-filled Saturdays, the Alvarado Street Fair held its last event for the season this weekend. ABQ Ride has held the fairs on the last Saturday of every month since May.

Roughly a dozen vendors, city departments, and non-profits set up shop in the Alvarado transportation center, offering residents information about the resources available to them in their community.

However, it wasn’t just about sharing information, the city also offered free face painting, music, and more.

ABQ Ride said they plan to bring back the street fairs next year but hope to make it bigger and better.
