Just days after the release of an explosive Nickelodeon documentary, Amanda Bynes posted a rare photo of herself via social media.

On March 22, just days after the release of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TVwhich explored the treatment of former child stars who appeared in Nickelodeon shows in the '90s and early '00s—Bynes took to Instagram with a picture of herself.

"At dinner with my bestie @liampoulsen ??," she captioned the snap.

In the photo, the What a Girl Wants actress, 37, sat at a restaurant table across from her pal, Liam Poulsen. She rocked a black outfit with white tennis shoes and a white beanie. Although her first post was on October 2023, Bynes has only posted three times on Instagram so far in 2024.

The timing of Bynes' IG update prompted followers to share their support for the former child actress.

One person wrote, "Just watched 'Quiet of the set,' speak your truth in your own time, I know you have plenty of stories to tell," while someone else declared, "You need to write your life story."

Another Instagram user commented, "As a 90s baby, I stayed ignorantly bliss of what was really going on apparently. I support you and I know millions of people are behind you as well. You’re stronger than you know."

Meanwhile, someone else wrote, "We love you Amanda, shame on the adults who didn’t protect you. you gave us fans who grew up watching you so much & we love you forever for it."

Among the bombshell revelations on Quiet on Set was All That and Drake & Josh star Drake Bell coming forward as the minor in a 2004 sexual abuse trial. Nickelodeon dialogue and acting coach Brian Peck (no relation to Josh Peck) pleaded no contest to one charge of oral copulation with a minor under 16 and one charge of performing a lewd act with a 14- or 15-year-old. He spent 16 months in prison and is now a registered sex offender.

The documentary also explored the conduct of other adults in charge of the network, in addition to questionable situations endured by child actors.

Quiet on Set's first four episodes are available for streaming on Max, with a fifth episode dropping on April 7 on Investigation Discovery, followed by Max.
