Amanda Seyfried Looks Uneasy While Playing with a Snake in New Video
Amanda Seyfried
Amanda Seyfried put on a brave face in a new video as she introduced her social media followers to the snake found in the basement of her home.
The 37-year-old shared the new video on her Instagram account on Tuesday, Oct. 17, with the clip showing Seyfried with a unique accessory around her wrist. In the video, she explained that the creature was a "basement snake," adding no further explanation.
While situated in what appears to be her kitchen, Seyfried had a face-off with a small-sized snake with brown spots, watching it move its tail from around her wrist to pile around her hand. Every few seconds, the snake's little tongue popped out at her as she smiled at it, looking slightly uneasy.
While some were surprised to see Seyfried casually holding a snake, others found it quite fitting. Chelsea Handler commented, "I can’t believe you have a snake. That is so you."
"You are now 10000% cooler, if that was even possible ??????," wrote a fan. Another said, "Your [sic] too cool ?? for me !! ??."
"reputation (amanda's version)," joked someone else.
Others shared their fear of snakes in the comments, with replies that included, "Its a no from me ????," "I could never?????? but love it for you," and "No. Nope. Terrifying."
Actress Hannah Simone of New Girl also said, "That’s a hard pass ??."
Fans seemed to conclude that Seyfried was likely holding a corn snake, which isn't harmful to humans and can be beneficial for pest population control, especially for farmers.
In the background of the clip, someone can be heard talking to a child, likely one of Seyfried's kids. The actress shares two children, a son named Thomas Jr., 3, and a daughter named Nina, 6, with her husband, Thomas Sadoski.
