Go into 2020 and forget smartwatches and pricey fitness trackers! With hundreds of Amazon shoppers agreeing that the ultra-affordable Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Fitness Tracker is the bee’s knees.
“Better than my Fitbit,” claims one enthusiastic reviewer.
On sale for $23 (originally $28), the “smart band” has all the bells and whistles of a basic tracker, and then some. The device is waterproof up to 50 meters and has all-day health management features such as a pedometer, heart rate monitor, sleep tracker and sedentary reminder. Plus, because we can’t be disconnected these days, the Mi Band links up with your mobile phone to display messages, phone calls and event reminders on its OLED screen. Best of all, it has an incredible battery life (up to a week!) that has stunned even the most skeptical buyers.
The impressive Amazon find boasts similar, if not superior, features to pricier competitors for a fraction of the price. What else could you ask for?
“This Mi Band makes it hard for more expensive trackers to justify their price point,” writes one 5-star reviewer. “This Mi Band changes the way fitness trackers should be viewed. It is so inexpensive coming in under $30 and works so well, that it is hard to justify paying three to six times the amount on more expensive ones that are not very advanced to this one. It also should lessen the value of bands that are in the same price range as this one, that are junk in comparison.”
And when it comes to advanced features, it sure delivers.
“I was looking for a fitness band that was comfortable, stylish, easy to use, waterproof, but most importantly, functional with good to great battery life... and this delivers in spades,” explains a happy customer who details the Mi Band’s impressive features.
“It's made of high-quality materials but is incredibly light and unobtrusive. The vibrating level is adequate enough to wake you at night if you set the alarm on it, but it's never jarring in your day-to-day goings about. The band has some really nice features, like auto-dimming after sunset or a scheduled time, being able to lock the screen, so there's no accidental menu changing without first unlocking it (by swiping up), and it even has a decent sleep tracking feature, that measures your stats and compares them to other users around you. You can even rate how you're feeling after you've woken up (Energetic, good, exhausted, sleepy). This band also has a Do Not Disturb feature, which turns on automatically if it senses absolutely no activity for a while, or it can be set up to work with a schedule. Another great feature is, you can change the band home screen to one of three options.”
Simply put, the Mi Band the affordable fitness tracker you’ve been waiting for.
“It’s made my life easier,” says one user of their experience. “Amazing piece of tech to add to your life. Comfortable. Long battery life. Works really well.”
