Browse all of our Prime Day coverage, and shop the best early Prime Day deals.
Amazon recently confirmed that Amazon Prime Day 2022 will be on Tuesday, July 12, and Wednesday, July 13 in more than 20 countries, returning to its customary month after two years of pandemic-related shifts. In 2020, Prime Day moved to October, and in 2021, it was in June.
But you don't have to wait till Prime Day to score massive savings! Early deals just dropped — and they're no joke. You can grab 55% off select Amazon devices, up to 50% off Fire TVs and so much more. Scroll for our picks, and also learn what to expect on Prime Day 2022, what makes this year different and our predictions for what the best deals will be.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Prime Day, which began eight years ago, is Amazon’s biggest shopping event for Prime members. The stellar sale includes markdowns on thousands upon thousands of products: tech, kitchen essentials, vacuums, apparel, beauty must-haves and so much more.
Does Prime Day have sales on everything?
Not everything is on sale for Prime Day, but a lot is. This is usually the day when you'll find huge discounts on top-rated brands and products you know and love.
What do we know so far about Prime Day?
With folks wanting to treat themselves after a tough couple of years, this Prime Day could be record-setting. In a May 2021 survey from Criteo, four out of five US consumers (81%) said Prime Day gets them in the mood to shop.
Other retailers will be riding the Prime Day train as well — Walmart, Best Buy, Target and GameStop all clapped back with their own sales last year.
What are the deals not to miss?
No one knows exactly which products will go on sale. But if history repeats itself, and we suspect it will, some of the best deals will be on Amazon Devices, like the Fire TV Stick 4K and the Echo Dot.
Yahoo readers' most purchased products last Prime Day? Apple AirPods, Crest Whitestrips, and Sony WH-CH710N Noise Cancelling Headphones. This year should follow suit, offering major markdowns across categories. Here are some stellar deals that are already happening:

Prime member benefits include free two-day shipping and delivery, and same-day or even two-hour shipping for eligible items and locations. And, of course, you’ll also get exclusive access to deals. Check out all the Amazon Prime 2022 perks here.
Can I get the deals with a free trial membership? If so, How long is the Amazon Prime free trial?
Yes, you can enjoy the perks of Prime Day — and all of the other benefits of being an Amazon Prime member — with the free trial membership. The trial membership is for 30 days.
How do I find the best deals?
There are a few things you can do to score big on your favorite items. The first is to get familiar with the popular pages across the site that typically host the best sales:
Deals of the Day: These sales last for a full 24 hours.
Lightning Deals: These deals last for only a few hours, while supplies last. Prime members get access to these sales 30 minutes before they go live to the public.
Savings and Sales: Ongoing deals throughout the event on select brands and products.
Amazon Coupons: You’ll find instant savings in this section.
We also recommend setting up a ‘Wish List’ at Amazon. That way, you’ve identified your must-have items before Prime Day, and once the sales go live, you can add them to your cart stress-free.
If you haven’t already done so, downloading the Amazon app is a must, as it allows you to watch the deals you’re interested in and get notified when they start.
Enjoy these early savings...and see you soon at Prime Day!
