‘American Pie’ cast: Where Are They Now?
American Pie was the hit comedy of 1999 and defined a generation. It told the tale of four friends (Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas, and Eddie Kaye Thomas) determined to have a romantic trist before high school graduation. The movie catapulted many of its leads into stardom, and the vast majority of the cast returned for the sequels, including American Pie 2, American Wedding, and American Reunion.
It's been over 25 years since the original film came out. Here, we look at the American Pie cast and where they are now.
Jason Biggs as Jim Levenstein
Born May 12, 1978, in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, Jason Biggs starred as Jim in the American Pie cast.
Prior to the movie, Biggs appeared on Broadway and also appeared in the soap opera As the World Turns. Landing the role of Jim in the American Pie cast was his career-defining break. After the movie, Biggs starred in the American Pie sequels as well as a host of other movies including Loser, Boys and Girls, and Saving Silverman.
Most recently, he appeared in the short-lived show Jason Biggs' Cash at Your Door (2021), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2022) and Best. Christmas. Ever! (2023).
Biggs is married to writer and actress Jenny Mollen, whom he met on the set of My Best Friend's Girl in 2007. The couple has two sons, Sid and Lazlo.

Chris Klein as Chris "Oz" Ostreicher American Pie cast
Chris Klein is from Nebraska and he made his screen debut in the movie Election (1999), appearing alongside Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick. Next up was appearing in the American Pie cast. After that he continued to appear in movies including We Were Soldiers (2002), Rollerball (2002), and the Ryan Reynolds comedy Just Friends (2005).
He also appeared in the TV series Wilfred, the 2018 rom-com The Competition with Thora Birch, and in 2019's Benchwarmers 2. Most recently, he was in CW's The Flash and Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias.
Klein is married to travel agent Laina Rose Thyfault and they have two children.
Thomas Ian Nicholas as Kevin Myers American Pie cast
Born July 10, 1980, Thomas Ian Nicholas was a child actor and had roles in several films including Rookie of the Year (1993) and A Kid in King Arthur's Court (1995).
After the American Pie cast, he appeared in the TV series Party of Five and also continued to act on the big screen. In addition to appearing in the American Pie franchise, Nicholas was also seen in Halloween: Resurrection (2002), National Lampoon Presents: Cattle Call (2006), Walt Before Mickey (2015) and Adverse (2021).
Nicholas is also a musician and in 2008 he released the album Without Warning.
He has two children with ex-wife Colette Marino.

Eddie Kaye Thomas as Paul Finch
Born October 31, 1980 in New York City, Eddie Kaye Thomas got his start on the stage before moving to TV and film. He appeared in One Life to Live and Law & Order before landing the role of Paul Finch in the American Pie cast. After that movie, he appeared in the Harold & Kumar franchise as well as appearing in Freddy Got Fingered (2001) and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008). He also appeared on TV in the series 'Til Death as Jeff Woodcock and the ABC action series Scorpion as Toby Curtis. He also played the voice of Barry Robinson on American Dad!
Most recently he’s appeared in the series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2023) and in the film Junction (2024).

Tara Reid as Vicky Lathum American Pie cast
Born November 8, 1975, in Wyckoff, New Jersey, Tara Reid got her acting start in the children’s game show Child's Play (1982). From there, she went on to appear in commercials before landing the role in The Big Lebowski (1998) and Cruel Intentions (1999). After landing the role of Vicky Lathum, on the American Pie cast, Reid continued to act in movies like Josie and the Pussycats (2001) and National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002). She also became a fan favorite playing the recurring character Danni Sullivan on Scrubs.
Reid hosted the reality series Taradise from 2005–06 and competed on season 8 of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK in 2011. She joined another comedy film series in 2013, starring in all six of the Sharknado movies.
Most recently she’s been in the 2023’s Bloodthirst and Of Things Past.
Seann William Scott as Steve Stifler
Born October 3, 1976, in Cottage Grove, Minnesota Seann William Scott played the role of Steve Stifler. Before the American Pie cast, Scott had bit parts on a few TV shows including Unhappily Ever After and Something so Right. After the American Pie cast, he appeared in several movies including Dude,Where's My Car? (2000), The Dukes of Hazzard (2005), Mr. Woodcock (2007), and Role Models (2008). He also played the voice of Crash in the Ice Age animated film series and television spin-offs. Scott also played Wesley Cole on the third season of the cop series Lethal Weapon. Most recently he’s been a regular on the series Welcome to Flatch (2022-2023)
He’s married to interior designer Olivia Korenberg.
Natasha Lyonne as Jessica American Pie cast
Born April 4, 1979, Natasha Lyonne was signed by the Ford Modeling Agency and at the age of six. She was cast as Opal on Pee-wee's Playhouse (1986). She also appeared in Everyone Says I Love You (1996), Slums of Beverly Hills (1998), and But I'm a Cheerleader (1999).
She then landed the part of Jessica on the American Pie cast. After the movie, she appeared in in Party Monster (2003) alongside Macaulay Culkin. She also starred in the horror movies Madhouse (2004) and All About Evil (2010). In 2013 she landed the role of Nicky Nichols in Orange Is the New Black.
In 2019, Lyonne began producing, directing, writing and starring in another Netflix series, Russian Doll, in which she was nominated for both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. In 20220 she appeared in Jon Stewart's film Irresistible. In 2023, she starred in a streaming series that she produced, Poker Face, on Peacock.
