Natural blonde Amy Poehler plays Tina Fey’s sister in the recent film Sisters — but the comedic duo really is starting to look alike, with Poehler’s straightened brunette locks (with blonde highlights!) making a splash on the 2016 SAG Awards red carpet. This isn’t the first time that the 44-year-old actress and author went dark for the cameras: in July 2015, Poehler arrived to the UK premiere of Inside Out with red-tinged auburn waves.

Poehler’s character on Parks and Recreation, Leslie Knopes, is iconic for her perky blonde waves, but ever since the show ended in February 2015, the actress has been experimenting with different hair looks. Onstage at the SAG Awards on Saturday night, both Poehler and Fey stood side-by-side rocking shoulder-length brunette hair, differentiated only by Fey’s red Prabal Gurung gown and Poehler’s black Stella McCartney gown. They presented Carol Burnett with the Life Achievement Award: “Our moms taught us 90 percent of what we needed to know to become the women we are today, and the other 10 percent is Carol. We love her, and we thank her,” they said onstage.
In January 2016, NBC ordered three new comedy pilots, including one from Poehler and fellow Parks and Recreation star Rashida Jones. If the dark hair is any indication, Poehler is going to be making more headlines all year.
