'Still pregnant and puking' Amy Schumer praised for calling out sexist attitudes toward women's health
Amy Schumer has a bone to pick with the medical industry — and no one who’s endured a rough pregnancy or severe bout of morning sickness will blame her.

The comedian has been vocal about the extreme nausea brought on by hyperemesis gravidarum — a condition which Kate Middleton also had during her pregnancies — that she’s experienced throughout her first pregnancy.
Though she’s days away from giving birth, Schumer is still suffering. Now the “still pregnant and puking” star is calling out the medical industry for devoting more research to men’s ailments — specifically, those of an, ahem, sexual nature — than women’s health issues.
A month after baring her pregnant body for a New York Times profile, the 37-year-old Trainwreck star is showing off her “growing bump” alongside shirtless husband Chris Fischer in a new Instagram post. And while her tone may be lighthearted, it’s clear she means business.
Warning: Graphic language.
“Amy is still pregnant and puking because money rarely goes to medical studies for women such as hyperemesis or endometriosis and instead goes to things like d***s not getting hard enough or old guys who want harder d***s,” she quipped.
The message is striking a chord with many of her female fans.
“While I was hooked to an IV during my pregnancy I thought, ‘If this happened to men we’d have a cure by now,’” read one comment.
“So true!!!! There should be more studies for women’s health,” agreed a fan.
“Why study women’s bodies which do awesome things like make babies when a 90-year-old male erection clearly takes precedent?” joked a commenter. “2 miserable pregnancies girl — I hear you!!”
“That’s what happens when we have a male-dominated medical field, Congress, tech world, corporate environment, etc.,” added another fan. “Amy, you’re beautiful.”
Celebrities also weighed in — with Anna Faris offering, “Can I be your midwife?”
