Angelina Jolie's Favorite Travel Shoes Are Shockingly Comfortable
Angelina Jolie is an A-list star, so obviously cost is no object when it comes to her fashion choices. Chanel, Gucci, Hermes…you name it, she can afford it. That is why it is so surprising that the style icon’s go-to shoe doesn’t come from a big-name designer-it’s actually super comfy, reasonably priced, and totally wearable.
The 43-year-old has been spotted on several occasions jet-setting around the world wearing San Francisco-based company Everlane’s Modern Loafer. The elegant and classically designed flat is constructed out of 100 percent chrome-tanned and vegetable-tanned Italian leather, making it super soft yet structured, polished-looking and “unbelievably” comfortable, according to reviewers.
The shoe retails for $168 and its fans attest to the fact it is “well made,” “worth the money” and “high quality.” Many even own them in several colors. It is available in sizes 5 to 11 and comes in 12 different hues, including classics tones like black, camel and burgundy, as well as more vibrant options such as violet and red.
In addition to being a perfect travel shoe, many of the loafer's fans claim it is great for both work and leisure. One tip? Some people commented that it takes a few wears to break in, meaning you might want to try it out around the house a few times before adding it to your travel or work wardrobe. But once broken in, many claim it is so foot-friendly that they can wear it all day and night without a second thought.
Everlane recently launched a new, updated version of the show they have dubbed The Boss Loafer, featuring a more pebbled Italian leather with the same architectural style. It's available in three hues and as both a mule and loafer.
Jolie isn’t the only celebrity who is a fan of Everlane. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was famously responsible for the quick sell-out of the brand’s Day Market Tote, after wearing it during her first public appearance with Prince Harry.
