Angelina Jolie Says Her Daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Influenced Her Latest Role

The actress made a rare comment about her daughter in an interview.

Angelina Jolie is continuing to make the sidewalk her runway, stepping out in the most enviable outfits even amid a pandemic.

On Thursday, the actress stepped out in a glamorous silky gold dress from Brunello Cucinelli on a dinner outing with all six of her children. As Daily Mail reports, she was joined by Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and Knox and Vivienne, 12, for dinner at Nobu in Los Angeles. She and her children donned protective face masks for the occasion, and Jolie paired her dress with low brown kitten heels and a cream colored purse. She kept her accessories to a minimum, opting for gold hoops, a few rings, and a wristwatch.

Jolie and her children have been isolating together in Los Angeles amid the coronavirus pandemic. In March, a source told E! News that the Jolie-Pitt children have been "keeping up with their schoolwork, practicing their languages, playing instruments, board games, and helping cook dinner" while in quarantine.

In an interview earlier this month, Jolie said her daughter Shiloh influenced her latest role in the Disney film The One and Only Ivan.

"Well, Shiloh years ago told me that she had read a book that she loved and she wanted me to read it," she said of the project. "I read it on my own and then we looked at some of it together and we talked about why she loved it. Then, I inquired if it was being made — as you do — into a film, and I found out that it was kinda in the works but kinda hadn't [been] figured out."

She added, "It's a very special story. It's an important true story and I think that resonates with all of us."
