Angelina Jolie's Kids Wore Matching Black Outfits for the 'Maleficent' Premiere
Five out of the six Jolie-Pitt kids made a rare red carpet appearance last night to support their mom. Angelina Jolie brought 15-year-old Pax, 14-year-old Zahara, 13-year-old Shiloh, and 11-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with her to her Maleficent premiere. Why wasn't her oldest son Maddox, 18, there? Because he's at college in South Korea, naturally.
Jolie wore a black Versace dress on the red carpet. Her kids all matched her in their own black outfits:
Jolie gushed about her children to Entertainment Tonight's red carpet reporter. They had no trouble getting dressed up for her big night, she said. "They wrangle me. Honestly, they're more together [than I am]. Zahara's the most organized in the family."
"It's just so wonderful to have their [support]," she said. "They're my friends."
Jolie spoke to Entertainment Tonight earlier about how she feels about Maddox starting school. (He attends Yonsei University in South Korea.) "I just sent one off… I'm so proud of him," she said. "I'm so excited, I feel like my world expands as their world expands. I learn so much from them and I love this stage.
"[And] it's going to be different for different kids," she said. "Maddox was so ready."
The outlet also spoke to a source before Maddox went away to school, who talked about how close the 18-year-old is with his mother. "She loves him and is so proud of how wise he is beyond his years," the source said. "She has encouraged him to travel nonstop, to learn many languages, and now has plans for him to go to university overseas. Maddox is very attached to his mom. She's always stood by him."
