Another Royal Wedding! Archduchess Secretly Weds Just Days After Princess Beatrice
We still can’t get over the sweet way Princess Beatrice honored her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, during her secret wedding with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Amid all the excitement, we almost missed another royal celebration that took place just three days later.
Yesterday, Eleonore von Habsburg (the Austrian Archduchess) tied the knot with her beau, professional race car driver Jérôme d'Ambrosio, according to Hello! magazine. The couple exchanged vows in a civil ceremony in Monaco, which was attended by their closest friends and family.
During the wedding, the bride, 26, wore a stunning off-the-shoulder dress by Carolina Herrera. She completed the look with diamond earrings and a chic fastener veil by Stephen Jones. The groom, 34, opted for a classic navy-blue suit (natch).
They were originally supposed to tie the knot in a large church, but the couple canceled their plans due to the coronavirus pandemic. Although they’re now “husband and wife,” many expect the newlyweds to host a large church wedding at some point in the future. *Sniff, sniff* Is that another royal wedding dress we smell?
Eleonore is a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine and the oldest daughter of Archduke Karl von Habsburg and Baroness Francesca von Habsburg. In addition to working as a fashion model for big-time brands like Dolce & Gabbana, she’s also a well-known jewelry designer.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
