Ant McPartlin reunited with Declan Donnelly after stint in rehab

Television presenter Ant McPartlin has been spotted with his co-star Declan Donnelly for the first time since his arrest for drink-driving in March.

The duo, who have worked together for 30 years, appeared happy and relaxed as they posed for photos with a fan in a hotel garden. 

Dec has been presenting Britain's Got Talent without his comedy partner since Ant, 42, was involved in a car crash in south-west London whilst drunk. 

He was fined ￡86,000 and has since spent a month in rehab - the second time he has sought help for an addiction. 

In 2017 McPartlin went to a treatment centre to tackle an addiction to painkillers that began after he injured his knee in 2014. 

"I was at the point where anything - prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs - I would take," he said.

"And take them with alcohol, which is ridiculous. The doctors told me, 'You could have killed yourself.' "

However on Tuesday, McPartlin looked carefree and tanned as he posed with Dec and a fan, although the pair reversed their usual "Ant on the left, Dec on the right" rule for the picture.
