If stores’ newest arrivals are any indication, there will be a lot of wicker in your future. Not long after IKEA, CB2 and Target’s Opalhouse line debuted rattan and cane everything, Anthropologie announced its summer collection-and it’s every bit as tropical-meets-boho.

There’s a rattan elephant bar cart and indoor/outdoor lounge chairs, but the real standout of the mix-which debuted online today-is the Peacock Cabana Daybed. Just the name alone conjures images of an island getaway, but the design by any other name would be just as sweet. I mean, just look at it.

The rattan canopy may not provide much in the way of shade, but its curved back does make you feel like you’ve got a little extra privacy-your own nook poolside. Plus, that geometric pattern instantly gives your yard that “Calgon, take me away!” vibe, even if the closest you are to an over-water villa is the half-deflated kiddie pool next to your deck. The whole thing’s topped with a 7.5-inch thick, hot pink cushion (which is also available in charcoal or white), making it the rare piece of outdoor furniture that’s truly, genuinely comfortable.

The only thing you’ll be missing is a margarita in hand and enough throw pillows to hide under, should your nosy neighbor peek over the fence and want to disturb your island fantasy with a short history of her issues with the way you trim your hedges. Sorry, Brenda, can’t hear you, I’m slipping into this pillowy abyss…

Now, for the harsh reality: The daybed will set you back $1,998. Plus another $998 for the cushion. That may be more than you’ve budgeted for your outdoor furniture. Hell, it may be more than you paid for your first car. Or maybe it’s what you spend on a wild night out without blinking. I don’t know your life, but I do know this daybed’s the stuff lazy summer daydreams are made of.
