New apartment building with 'luxury Zen atmosphere' opening soon in Jersey City
If you're looking to embrace city life without fully committing to the New York City lifestyle, this new rental community coming to Jersey City might be for you.
One Grove, located at 215 Grove St. in the city's downtown area, is a 200-unit luxury rental community with apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom units, starting at $2,925 per month. The development has recently opened for pre-leasing, and occupancy is expected to begin in the upcoming weeks.
"One Grove invites you to escape the noise of daily life and let the outside world fade," the website states. "Each studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom residence immerses you in hand-crafted details, beautiful natural light and thoughtful features."
The building — just minutes away from the Hudson River waterfront, NY Waterway ferry terminals, the Newark Avenue Pedestrian Plaza and the Grove Street PATH Station — was designed to provide both a "luxury Zen atmosphere" and an eco-friendly environment. This was achieved through the use of raw textures, organic materials, earthy hues and interior systems that meet performance standards under the LEED and EnergyStar programs.
Each apartment will consist of features like premium fixtures, high-end appliances and smart-home technologies to control things like unit access, heating and air conditioning. In addition to being a pet-friendly rental community, approximately 30% of the building's apartment will have their own private outdoor spaces.
And for those looking to host visitors, the building includes a wing of furnished short-term rental units reserved for family and friends to reside during extended stays. These are also available for other visitors who are looking for a short-term rental in the area.
One Grove will also boast a list of communal amenities for residents, including a resident lounge, a coworking space and a fitness center. There is also a landscaped rooftop terrace and a large demonstration kitchen for hosting, as well as a parking garage.
"We are thrilled to introduce One Grove to the Jersey City community and welcome our first residents in the coming weeks," said David Brown, deputy managing director for the building's developer, Strategic Capital.
