With the devastating impact that Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma has had on the nation, we couldn't imagine the two combined. But Harvey and Irma have been together for 75 years-at least, this couple has.

Harvey and Irma Schluter from Spokane, Washington just celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary in March, according to The Spokesman-Review. He's 104 and she's 92. Talk about the love of a lifetime!

The two have been through a lot, but they've never seen two major hurricanes with their names threaten the United States. "I don't know how they've done that, to have a Harvey and Irma," Irma told The New York Times. "I don't know how that worked out."

While Harvey and Irma the names are now linked with devastation, Harvey and Irma the people have a much more pleasant story. The couple married in 1942 when Franklin D. Roosevelt was the president of the United States. During that time, Harvey and Irma have fostered more than 120 children and had three of their own, reported The Spokesman-Review. Some of these children still refer to them as "Mom and Dad" years later.

Today, the two continue to hear reports of death, destruction, and evacuation from the hurricanes bearing their names. "I have no idea what I'd do; I've never been in that kind of a situation," Irma told the Times. "I'd try and help some people, I don't know how."

But she's keeping the motto that she's had in taking children into her home. "You just do whatever you think would be best to do," she added. "If you can help someone, then help them."
