Here's Every Picture of Prince Harry Playing with Dogs to Brighten Your Week
We all know someone who RSVPs “yes” the second he/she knows a dog will be at the party. (You know, the one who greets the canine before everyone else in the room.) Well, in the royal family, that person is Prince Harry.
So, if you’re looking for a quick pick-me-up, keep scrolling for 15 photos of the 34-year-old prince playing with dogs that will surely brighten your week.
Prince Harry has been known to show PDA with his four-legged friends every dog he meets. (Like this one he encountered during a trip to Southern Africa in June 2010.)
No, really. His obsession dates back to when he was a little tot befriending random dogs in Mallorca, Spain. It’s so fluffy, I’m gonna die!
The trend continued throughout his teens. (You know, back when we thought we still had a chance with him.) In 2010, Prince Harry stopped a charity polo match to play with a golden retriever. Priorities, people.
A few months later, the prince broke royal protocol (again) when he greeted a service puppy-in-training.
We mean, look how happy he is with Rosie and Jenny. (They’re owned by Andrew Gailey, the former housemaster of the Manor House.)
When he attended the 2016 Invictus Games in Orlando, Florida, he confirmed he’s practically a stage mom to any and all dogs.
Not to mention a part-time canine whisperer to this lucky pooch in Sussex.
In 2016, the prince was spotted bonding with a service animal in Orlando. Maybe he missed his calling as a dog trainer?
Disclaimer: This one’s blood related. (Meet Prince William and Kate Middleton’s dog, Lupo.)
Behold: Yet another service dog. But this time, it’s Cooper, the dog of Royal Marine Phil Eaglesham. The prince has a gift, amiright?
He even cheered on an energetic pooch while visiting the University of Bath in 2017. “Atta boy.”
And stopped to smell the roses pet a pooch at the South African Wildlife College in 2015. In hindsight, this dog has no idea who he/she is ignoring.
This dog couldn’t help but let out a big yawn during the prince’s speech at the Veterans’ Mental Health Conference. Talk about a photobomb.
However, not all encounters are peppy, like this one at the Invictus Games in 2014. “Do as I say, and everybody gets a treat.”
But at the end of the day, Prince Harry is a sucker for these four-legged friends. What royal protocol?
