'Fixer Upper' stars Chip and Joanna Gaines address reports that they sold their Texas farmhouse

Though Chip and Joanna Gaines may be ready to part ways with their hit HGTV show, the same cannot be said for their beloved Texas property.

After reports surfaced that the "Fixer Upper" stars sold their home famously featured in the home renovation show, the two quickly responded to the "completely untrue" reports.

"Any report that Chip and Joanna have sold their farmhouse is completely untrue. They have not sold their home and they do not have any plans to do so," a Magnolia spokesperson told E! News. "The Gaines recently moved their property line to match their fence line -- this is not uncommon and is a matter of public record -- which is likely what triggered this false report."

Chip and Jo transformed the two-bedroom house with an unfinished attic to a six-bedroom, two-bath abode with not just one, but two craft homes. The farmhouse is peppered with unique details signature to the couple's style, like an open floor plan and white-washed shiplap all over. The two purchased the house in 2012 and spent 18 months renovating it.

"After living in nine different homes, we were ready to settle on some land and stay a while," Joanna wrote on their blog. "Living on a farm has always been a dream of ours, and we were excited when it finally became a reality."

The 2,729-square-foot property has made numerous appearances on "Fixer Upper," though fans will have to find their own farmhouse fix after the show's last season. In late September, the couple announced that season 5 will be their last.

"It is with both sadness and expectation that we share the news that season 5 of Fixer Upper will be our last. While we are confident that this is the right choice for us, it has for sure not been an easy one to come to terms with," the couple wrote in a joint blog post at the time. "Our family has grown up alongside yours, and we have felt you rooting us on from the other side of the screen. How bittersweet to say goodbye to the very thing that introduced us all in the first place."
