You'll Never Believe Who Played Matchmaker for Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas

It appears Hailee Steinfeld can add matchmaker to her already extensive résumé.

During a recent radio interview, the Pitch Perfect star revealed that she played a large role in Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’s love story. You see, Steinfeld worked with Jonas’s band DNCE on the song “Rock Bottom” in 2015, so when Turner started dating the musician, she asked for her friend’s approval, natch. 

Steinfeld said, “I mean, I will say, I did get that text from Sophie being like, ‘So tell me about Joe,’ and I was like ‘Go for it!’”

The 21-year-old actress went on to reveal that she couldn’t be happier for the newly engaged couple. She continued, “I actually just saw them both for the first time since they got engaged; I saw them together. And yeah, I mean, I’m freaking out about it.”
