From House Beautiful

Six years ago, I created a biannual event where invited designers take on the task of transforming an entire room in just six short weeks.

Come along for the ride as these amazingly talented designers take you behind the scenes while sharing designer tips and tricks for creating a beautiful space. They've been sharing their progress every Wednesday since early October.

Wood paneling, sheetrock, wallpaper and color are just some of the design trends up for discussion. Over at Making It Lovely, a gorgeous “rainbow room” (an attic with an awe-inspiring stained glass window) will be turned into a home office. Ibbdesign is collaborating with Dwell With Dignity to transform a family room and dining area in an apartment for a family in need. Megan Pflug Designs is tackling the living / dining room of an upstate New York A-frame lodge. Across all our 20 participants, there is something to inspire everyone.
