Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are married! YAYYYYY!

And while typically, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the regressive expectation of a baby in a baby carriage, Meghan and Harry did things a little differently. Much like Prince William and Kate Middleton before them, the newlyweds decided to start living together ahead of their nuptials. Here's the deal with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's current love shack (by which I mean love cottage)-plus, details on where they might move once they have kids.

Where They Live Now

For the moment, Harry and Meghan are living in Nottingham Cottage, a sweet and ultra charming two-bedroom house on the edge of Kensington Palace; it's just steps away from William and Kate's (much bigger) place. Aside from the two bedrooms, Nottingham Cottage has "one bathroom, two reception rooms, a kitchen, living room and small garden out back." Sounds nice, right?

Fun fact #1:

The cottage was previously occupied by Harry's brother and sister-in-law, who lived there for two years prior to moving into "Apartment 1A," where Princess Margaret used to live. Apparently, the ceilings of Nottingham Cottage are so low that William had to "stoop" to avoiding hitting his head.

Fun fact #2:

Palace ~insiders~ refer to the house as "Notts Cott," which is extremely adorable and cute and ughhhh why am I not a royal?????????-inducing.

Where They'll Probably Move

The chances that Meghan and Harry will stay in Nottingham Cottage once they have kids are pretty slim. While there isn't confirmation on where they'll reside next, there's been speculation that they could move part-time to Luckington Court, a multi-million dollar countryside manor near Highgrove House (where Harry spent much of his childhood) that mysteriously went off the market right after Harry and Meghan announced their engagement. Iconically, this home was featured in the Colin Firth production of Pride & Prejudice:

It's also been reported that Harry and Meghan will stick things out at Kensington Palace and move into Apartment 1, a massive 21-room apartment that happens to be right next door to Kate and William (and is currently undergoing renovations).

And finally? There's another report making the rounds that Queen Elizabeth II will gift the couple a country home on her Sandringham estate in Norfolk: York Cottage, which is super close to Will and Kate's country home Anmer Hall.
