Remember when the Sussexes and the Cambridges attended that polo match together right after Baby Archie was born? And a ton of cute photos were taken of Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton's hanging out with their kids? Yeah, about that. According to a pretty extra new report from The Sun (the outlet that scooped Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's bombshell news), William and Harry had a "falling out" right before the match.

Unclear what the argument was about, but apparently things have only become more tense since, with William reportedly accusing Harry of “changing” and “speaking rudely to staff.”

“It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see just how damaged William and Harry’s relationship has become," a "senior royal source" says. “They’ll always love each other as brothers, but right now things have never been so bad. William feels betrayed and let down by Harry. Harry feels like William and Kate never gave Meghan a chance. And now they’re leaving the country in this state.”

William and Harry are clearly eager to present a united front, issuing a joint statement ahead of yesterday's summit saying "Despite clear denials, a false story ran in a UK newspaper today speculating about the relationship between The Duke of Sussex and The Duke of Cambridge. For brothers who care so deeply about the issues surrounding mental health, the use of inflammatory language in this way is offensive and potentially harmful."

FYI, the statement is thought to be in reference to a false report about William "bullying" Harry. Meanwhile, The Queen just released her first official statement following Meghan and Harry's announcement, lending her support to their decision:

Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family. My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family. Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.
