If you’re thinking about making the switch from Android to iPhone, or just need a smartphone upgrade, get ready: The best time to save money on an iPhone is...now!
Apple recently announced the new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro with the latest and greatest gadgets and gizmos you can put inside a smartphone. While the newest iPhone is the most inexpensive model in years at $699, the tech company also dropped the price on previous models.
Once a year, Apple usually discounts older generations of the iPhone to clear inventory for the new generation. This year is no different with price drops on last year’s iPhone XR ($599, was $749), iPhone 8 ($449, was $699) and iPhone 8 Plus ($549, was $799). Not too shabby.
However, Apple quietly discontinued the 2018’s iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max altogether.
Meanwhile, retailers like Amazon, Walmart and eBay are always selling new and refurbished models of older iPhones. At the moment, you can get the Apple iPhone 8 (64GB) for as little as $379 on Amazon. When it was released in September 2018, it cost $699. That’s a savings of $320.
So unless you just can’t survive without the very latest model, check out the best iPhone deals below:
