What’s New on Apple TV+ in 2024

Apple TV+ has revealed its slate of upcoming movies and series for 2024, and it’s looking like a killer year.

With a healthy amount of Apple originals, it’s clear the platform is still competing with the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

One highlight is Criminal Record, which is also the first Apple TV+ release of 2024. It sees former Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi play a veteran detective paired with a rookie for a historic murder case.

Then there’s the glitzy, Tom Hanks/Steven Spielberg nine-episode miniseries Masters of the Air, which follows the adventures of an American bomber squad during WW2.

The Dynasty: New England Patriots follows soon after, a ten-episode documentary chronicling the glory years that delivered fans six Super Bowls.

Apple TV+’s biggest original movie is Argyll, a globe-trotting comedy/spy thriller starring Henry Cavill. It releases in cinemas first, with a small screen release date unconfirmed for now.

There’s also Matt Damon/Casey Affleck crime caper The Instigators, and Brad Pitt teams with George Clooney for psychological action-thriller Wolfs.
