Baskin-Robbins Has A C otton Candy Crackle Flavor And It's A Carnival Of Color
From a cotton candy-dipped ice cream cone at Dairy Queen to a blue soda that tastes exactly like the carnival treat, it's clear that cotton candy is having a moment. Baskin-Robbins is the latest sweet maker to jump on the cotton candy train, announcing Cotton Candy Crackle as the flavor of the moment for April and May. It was also inspired by the nostalgic childhood treat you ate during fairs on long summer days.
This little gem is a carnival of color in three parts. The base is a cotton candy-flavored ice cream with an extra cotton candy-flavored ribbon swirled inside. In addition to making this ice cream even sweeter, yellow crackling poppin' candy pieces also bring added color and crunch to every single bite.
If you want to sink your teeth into a scoop of Cotton Candy Crackle without leaving the safety of your own home, you have until May 3 to take advantage of a special $0 delivery fee on orders of $15 or more placed through DoorDash. Drivers will provide a "no-contact" delivery by leaving your sweets at your front door. In addition to delivery, Baskin-Robbins stores remain open for carry-out. Curbside pickup and drive-thru ordering is also available at select locations.
If you're a lover of all things cotton candy, mark your calendars with a big blue circle around September. Act II is introducing a Llama Party cotton candy-flavored popcorn that turns blue when it pops at the end of summer, so you know what to serve at that back-to-school party.
