Ariana DeBose and Bella Ramsey Hug It Out After Awards Show Drama

There doesn't seem to be any bad blood between Ariana DeBose and Bella Ramsey following their awkward award show snafu.

The two were caught hugging it out at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, with Ramsey's arms wrapped around DeBose's neck and hers wrapped around the younger actor's back in turn, a gentle smile visible on DeBose's face.

Writer Evan Ross Katz apparently captured the sweet moment, uploading a snapshot of their embrace to Instagram.

"Incredible! Here’s Bella Ramsey and Academy Award-winner Ariana DeBose hugging at tonight’s Emmy Awards," he wrote in the caption. "It’s particularly poignant because of a joke that Ramsey was fed in their teleprompter at the Critic’s Choice Awards yesterday which categorized DeBose among 'Actors Who Think They Are Singers.'"

In case you missed it, the Last of Us star was introducing Best Song nominees at this year's Critics' Choice Awards when the teleprompter included the Broadway star in a list of "actors who also think that they are singers," among the likes of Jack Black and Ryan Gosling.

The Hamilton actress was visibly confused by the jab, as were fans who know she's been seen in multiple musicals throughout the years, even garnering a Tony nominee for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance as Disco Donna in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, not to mention starring as Anita in the 2021 remake of West Side Story.

DeBose later took to her Instagram Story to address the "joke," where she confirmed, "No I didn’t find it funny. Lol.'"
