Ariana Grande Fans Are Spiraling Over Her Becoming a Judge on ‘The Voice’
So while everyone was bored at work, desperately praying for something entertaining to happen during yet another Zoom that should have been an email, Ariana Grande decided to make a casual announcement. Ahem, turns out she is the next judge on NBC’s The Voice. In the announcement, Ari simply wrote, “Surprise !!! I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice ! @nickjonas we will miss you.”

Obviously, this news has sent the internet into a full-blown panic in a good way, as Ariana’s fans (me) try to figure out how to, like, audition for The Voice and join her team/become her best friend for life.

Ariana will replace Nick Jonas on The Voice, but he’s not gone for good! A source tells Page Six that “Ariana is a huge fan of The Voice and her management team has been negotiating to get her on the show for a while. She is replacing Nick Jonas, who is a [coach] on the current season, but he isn’t leaving for good. Nick will remain on rotation with other stars that have appeared on the show. The chances are he will be back soon.”
Meanwhile, Ari reportedly said, “I’m so honored and excited to join The Voice family! I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists, and help to take their craft to the next level.”
Welp. Guess I’m a Voice fan now.
