Ariana Grande Just Issued a Heartfelt Response to Pete Davidson's Emotional Statement
Ariana Grande has issued a direct response to her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson's emotional Instagram post about the bullying he's endured over the last nine months. In a message shared via Instagram Stories, Ariana asked her fans to be less hard on Pete, and said she still cares deeply about him and his mental health.
"I know u already know this but I feel I need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others," she wrote. "I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity. I care deeply about Pete and his health. I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet."
Ariana went on to remind fans that they "truly don’t know what anybody is experiencing ever" and said she'll always love her ex: "I will always have irrevocable love for him and if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point."
In his initial post, Pete made it clear that the online bullying won't get the best of him, saying the following:
I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months. I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth. I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't. I'm upset I even have to say this.
If you or someone you know is considering suicide, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 or contact the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741-741.
