Ariana Grande Made a Shady Quip About Travis Scott Amidst His and Kylie Jenner's Feud With Nicki Minaj

Ariana Grande not-so subtly took sides last night in Nicki Minaj's ongoing feud with Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner after Scott ended up with the #1 album slot on the Billboard Top 200 last week over Minaj. Minaj attributed that to Scott using album-merch bundles and his girlfriend Jenner promoting his tour to boost sales. "You got your girlfriend selling tour passes," Minaj said on her Beats 1 show Queen Radio Tuesday. "Stop it. Knock it the fuck off."

Grande was performing at her Sweetener Sessions Chicago concert when she was told her album could go to number one this week. "We have three days left, you don’t know what Travis could pull," she replied jokingly.

The remark was lighthearted, but it also clearly hints that Grande sympathizes with her good friend Minaj over Jenner and Scott. It's not surprising given Grande's visible support of Minaj Monday night at the MTV VMAs-hours after the drama began-with her helping carry Minaj's train up to the stage to prevent a wardrobe malfunction.

In her VMA speech, Minaj thanked Grande and expressed how excited she was about Grande's new album. "I'm so proud of you," she said. "I'm so freaking proud of you Ariana!"
