Coachella announced its 2019 performers last night, where Ariana Grande will headline and make history in two ways. Grande is the fourth ever female headliner at the festival, but as her manager Scooter Braun pointed out when he shared the announcement, she's the youngest headliner ever in the festival's history. Grande is just 25.

"See you in the ??," Braun wrote. "@arianagrande 4th female to ever headline and the youngest headliner in the history of the festival! #history congrats Ari. #coachella"

Grande also shared the news on her Instagram. "humbled and excited as all hell @coachella thank u ???? "

The festival's two other headliners are Childish Gambino and Tame Impala. K-pop band BLACKPINK will also perform at hte festival along with Solange, Kid Cudi, Janelle Monae, and Diplo. Grande replaces Kanye West, who TMZ reports was originally supposed to headline the festival. Multiple sources told the outlet that negotiations fell apart over stage requests. West "made it clear he wouldn't perform on a traditional 60x40 foot stage because it was 'artistically limiting,'" the outlet wrote, while the festival producers refused to alter or remove the stage for West's performance and compromise other acts to accommodate him.

Last year, Beyonce headlined Coachella along with The Weeknd and Eminem. This year's festival will be April 12-14 and April 19-21.
