Ariana Grande Reportedly Splits From Husband Dalton Gomez
Ariana Grande and her husband, Dalton Gomez, are reportedly on the brink of divorce.
TMZ said sources connected to the couple confirmed the demise of the marriage, noting that the duo has been separated since the beginning of the year.
The tabloid added that the insiders said the couple previously attempted a reconciliation, though it didn’t work out.
Nonetheless, it's said Grande and Gomez remain on friendly terms, as TMZ noted that the duo talks on the phone frequently.
ET also confirmed with sources that the duo split after two years of marriage, adding, "They've been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship."
"Ariana and Dalton’s friends have always been concerned by their whirlwind romance and felt their relationship would ultimately be short-lived. Their relationship has been rocky at different points, and they've had trouble making time for each other with scheduling issues," another source revealed to the outlet.
Rumors of a split first began circulating when the “Save Your Tears” singer was spotted without her wedding ring at the Wimbledon final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic over the weekend, seated next to Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey and Andrew Garfield.
This isn’t the first time that the star has been seen without the band, as the two have been spending a lot of time apart while she films Wicked, which has currently paused production due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
Parade reached out to Grande’s reps for a comment and has not heard back.
Grande met the realtor when she was looking for a second home. They began dating in early 2020 and exchanged “I do’s” in May 2021, just five months after announcing their engagement.
While the couple kept their marriage pretty low-key, the “7 Rings” crooner gave a rare update on her marriage earlier this year, sharing a black and white photo of the couple kissing from their nuptials, writing, "2 ? (3.5 together!!!) i love him so."
