Ariana Grande really did that.

Though she is not attending the 2019 Grammys, she already took home her first-ever win for Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener. The reason she's not attending "music's biggest night" is because of a public feud she had with the show's producers.

The Grammys tried to get the upper hand by claiming the reason Ariana wasn't performing was because she "felt it was too late for her to pull something together" - which, by the way, was a total lie. Ariana tweeted her little heart out and set the record straight for fans, while slamming the Grammys in the process. And because she's a BAMF, she won an award three days after her tweetstorm.

Now, she's getting the last laugh. She posted a photoshopped pic of her 5-year-old self holding a Grammy. (The 'shopped pic appears to have been made by Twitter user @thankubutnext, who tweeted it at Ariana, who then retweeted it.)

Is she trolling the award show, or is she just excited to call herself "Grammy winner Ariana Grande"? Maybe a little of both.

Ari initially shared the throwback pic hours earlier, captioning it, "started from the bottom now we here #thankunext #fineafterbeingstruck2ndtime." Apparently, she was hit with a hockey puck not once but TWICE as a kid. Ouch.

She also responded to a fan in the comments, joking about her newest tattoo fail: "Only difference now is that hands says bbq grill finger." Seriously, if you can't laugh at your mistakes, then what's even the point?

Maybe this will teach the Grammys not to mess with Ariana again.
