They're both known for epic smackdowns in their action movies, but in real life, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have each met their match in the other. The two stars have been affectionately trolling each other for some time now, and Schwarzenegger just kicked off another bout.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Schwarzenegger provoked Stallone by joking that he had tricked him into starring in the 1992 movie Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot (which, to put it kindly, will not go down in history as a classic of 20th century cinema). Stallone responded on Twitter, posting a video in which he offers Schwarzenegger a role in the sequel.

"OK, my big muscular friend, I saw you the other night on Jimmy Kimmel, kinda making fun of me... telling the whole world about how you tricked me into doing the worst movie ever made," he said. "Does it bother me? Nah. Is it burnt into my memory like a horrible scar? Nah. Well, maybe just a little bit."

He continued: "So anyway, as you know, I write. Which is something you don't." (Oh snap!) "And I've decided to write a sequel for you, called Stop or Your Grandmother Will Beat Your Ass. And I will be directing, and producing, and mocking it, all the way through."

This troll war goes back months: Stallone has previously posted a hilarious photoshopped image of a tiny Schwarzenegger, while Schwarzenegger has joked that he's better looking than Stallone. And in September, he belittled the size of the knife Stallone used in Rambo, pulling out his own weapon to compare. "This is what we used in Predator," he said. "It's just a little larger than yours, but don't worry about it."

This rivalry is all in good fun, of course, and Stallone signed off this latest strike by wishing Schwarzenegger well. "Keep punching, big guy, and good luck with your film."
