This art teacher's dry-erase board drawings are a classroom hit
One Kansas high school teacher has found a creative way to get her students’ attention: her own art.
As Kansas City’s Fox affiliate reports, DeAnna Morgan, an art teacher at Paola High School in Paola, Kan., has won praise for the skilled drawings she leaves on the dry-erase board in her classroom.
Morgan has an extensive repertoire, with cartoon and comic book characters, pop culture personalities (including the rapper Macklemore and Jim and Pam from The Office), animals, and the occasional self-portrait greeting students as they arrive for class.

Often, there’s a theme to inspire her art. Feminine Friday, for instance, was marked with an uncanny portrait of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the Supreme Court.

Students and fellow teachers have also served as artistic muses.

Morgan told Fox 4 that she tries to do a drawing each day — and, yes, she takes requests.
