Ashlee Simpson Welcomes Son Ziggy Blu With Husband Evan Ross
Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross welcomed son Ziggy Blu on Oct. 29.
Ashlee and Evan posted a photo of their baby boy on Instagram.
Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' family is bigger by one! Ashlee and Evan welcomed their son, Ziggy Blu Ross, on Oct. 29. This is their second child together — they're also parents to daughter Jagger. Ashlee also shares son Bronx, with ex-husband Pete Wentz.
“10-29-2020 Ziggy Blu Ross. Our sweet boy has arrived! I’m over the MOON we are so Blessed!” Ashlee captioned the photo of her son. Evan posted the same photo, writing, "I'm in heaven. ?? ?? ??"
In August, Evan and Ashlee spoke to People about their growing family. Evan said that he was ″so excited for this little one on the way." Ashlee added, "It'll be really nice to go back to the newborn phase. Newborn babies smell so good. There's nothing like it. And we can't wait for the snuggles!"
Their daughter, however, wasn't pleased after hearing that she'd have a little brother. "She was so upset because she really wanted a sister," Evan explained. Ashlee added that she eventually accepted the idea of having a baby brother. "Now she's going to be the queen forever!" she said.
When it comes to co-parenting with Pete, Ashlee admits that he's "wonderful." Evan told Us Weekly in September 2018, "[We] lucked out. It could go all different ways. I think the fact that there is a lot of respect amongst all of us. That makes it easier. And we’re all really close friends. It’s easy, we got really lucky with that.”
