Michael Kors is one of the big shows of NYFW, so naturally you expect a big crowd — and he did not disappoint. Out to support Kors this morning was his usual frow starlets — Emily Ratajkowski, Amanda Peet, Blake Lively — and a gaggle of fashion fashion gals, including Margaret Zhang, Aimee Song, Harley Viera-Newton, and Gala Gonzalez.

Obviously, there were supermodels galore who followed, but Ashley Graham was the standout in a silver fox shrug over a gray ribbed tank dress. It was a first for Kors to have Ashley walk the show, which is a major moment for a big designer to acknowledge that every size is not a size zero, so applause for Michael!

Music plays a big part in a Michael Kors show, and this morning was no different. Handsome conductor Thomas Roussel led a 13-piece string orchestra and opened the show with a cover of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams,” followed by Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach.” A great way to start the day indeed!
